New Partnership with Ariens Co. Creates Jobs for the Blind

Brillion, WI based Ariens Company is teaming up with Beyond Vision’s Customer Care Center on a program that will provide Ariens customers with a top of the line service as well as create jobs for people who are blind right here in Wisconsin.  Ariens Company is a privately-owned and operated corporation focused on outdoor products that serve the needs of both consumer and professional customers.

Beyond Vision’s Customer Care Center was created in 2010, creating white collar employment options for people who are blind. The business unit has grown over the years and was recently renovated and expanded in Fall of 2016. Today, the state of the art Customer Care Center facility serves as a runway for our blind agents to hone their skills and grow professionally. Our blind agents will be assisting Ariens’ customer support team for their Wholegoods business, taking inbound calls from consumers who have purchased their products.

The partnership will result in the creation of additional job opportunities for people who are blind. The new program is a perfect example of how companies can give back to the community while at the same time receiving excellent services.   Here in Wisconsin, roughly 7 of every 10 working age adults who are blind are not working.
