Donations are Investments in Opportunities

In FY 2014-15, we have received such wonderful support from generous donors like you. Your financial contributions are important to each and every of our employees who are blind or visually impaired. It helps drive our mission forward in so many ways, none more important that helping to develop the skillsets of our dedicated workforce. Each year, your support is invested into opportunities for people who are blind to lead successful independent lives. You provide upward mobility for people who are blind. Thank you!

An example of our Workforce Development initiatives is an innovative computer skills course designed specifically for people who are blind. This weekly training course was developed in collaboration with our partners at The Vision Forward Association. The curriculum began with an evaluation of the participant’s baseline skill levels. Many of the participants in this course possess the capability to become effective leaders and managers in the workplace, but do not have the computer skills necessary for that type of promotion. Your donation breaks down the barriers to gainful employment for people who are blind. It creates pathways to sustainable employment and career advancement for this severely under-served population.

At Beyond Vision we strive to ensure people who are blind or visually impaired have an equal opportunity to succeed in all aspects of the workplace. Your donations help make this a reality.  Donating to Beyond Vision is simple; we accept donations online HERE, by check via mail addressed to 5316 W State St, Milwaukee, WI 53202, or phone 414-778-5800.
