beyond vision our history

Our Proud History

Established in 1903 as the “Wisconsin Workshop for the Blind,” Beyond Vision has evolved significantly over the past century.

What was originally a state agency is now a successful, private, not-for-profit corporation.

Our revenue is earned from our work with numerous manufacturing customers, among them Briggs & Stratton, Harley Davidson, Pentair, P&H, Morris Material Handling, and Oshkosh Truck.

We receive no operational federal, local, or state funding, except through project-specific grant requests. We receive no United Way funding.

Our employees enjoy earning market-competitive wages with excellent benefits as well as opportunities for continual career advancement.

Today, our consistent growth . . . our dedication to our loyal customers . . . and our commitment to our wonderful employees makes us a top choice for our partners — outstanding businesses just like yours.
