Since moving from Miami to Milwaukee in 2018, Guillermo Baena has experienced the ups and downs of temperature, humidity and allergies. Why would he move from Florida to Wisconsin?  He wanted to represent Beyond Vision’s services to help expand a mission that he connects with directly. As a person who is blind, he is driven to create more employment opportunities for others who are blind and to assist corporations in making their online services accessible to all.

With his guide dog, Keely, Baena has been building connections across the city through events hosted by the BizTimes, the Hispanic Professionals of Greater Milwaukee and various other groups. Through his efforts and networking, Baena has driven Beyond Vision’s brand awareness to a higher level. He has also given many organizations the chance to learn about Beyond Vision’s customer care capabilities and what website accessibility is. This awareness building has impacted sales and continues to expand opportunities for Beyond Vision.

Baena has a background in recruiting, financial consulting and has worked as a business coach.
