Stacy started at Beyond Vision as a Customer Service Representative for the Manufacturing Department located in West Allis, Wisconsin. In this role, she would come not only to help the manufacturing side of the business, but also the government products side as well. Stacy then transitioned her communication skills into an Administrative Assistant role before making her latest change to Customer Care Specialist at the 934th Base Supply Center, Located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, in 2022. Beyond Vision helped pay for the relocation costs associated with Stacy’s move up to Minnesota along with professional training in using Microsoft products like Excel that has helped Stacy be an incredibly efficient employee.
Stacy has been blind since birth so she uses the screen reader software, JAWS, to accomplish her work. She is the founding member of the Base Supply Centers’ JAWS and Netsuite users’ group. This group spans across all Beyond Vision Base Supply Centers and meets monthly to discuss the software and ERP system, and collaboratively problem-solve any issues that arise.
Stacy is always seeking more responsibility in her roles. Such as becoming the Marketing Champion for the base supply center last year. Many customers go out of their way to tell her manager how efficient and pleasant to work with she is. Her manager says that, “Stacy delights our customers and has one of the best attitudes that I have seen in my retail career.” In the future, Stacy aspires to take everything she’s learned in her time at Beyond Vision to the next level and be an assistant manager at the store.
